Interactive Play On Your Trampoline

Kids love digital devices and games, so much so that it might be tough to tear them away from their screens and convince them to go outside.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to combine indoor games and outdoor play?

The people at Springfree Trampolines have found a way to do just that with tgoma, the first outdoor interactive digital gaming system.

Kids spend more time-consuming media each week – 60 hours -- than most adults do at their jobs, while only devoting 60 minutes a week to playing outside.

Technology is a valuable tool for encouraging both learning and play, but we realize that parents struggle to find a balance between the time kids spend in front of screens and the time they spend playing outdoors.

Instead of giving kids an either/or proposition, tgoma uses technology to turn “screen time” from an isolating, sedentary activity into an engaging and healthy experience the whole family can enjoy.

tgoma has designed its games and apps to be fun for kids and adults alike, allowing players to get an effective physical workout. The games – when integrated with a Springfree trampoline – offer a fun physical and mental challenge while increasing your outdoor play time.

Some Of The Trampoline Games In The tgoma Line-Up Include:

tgoma-logo.pngFruitants – A “crazy fruit salad of a game” putting players against “grumpy grapes, silly strawberries and mad melons,” Fruitants is perfect for older kids, although still engaging for younger jumpers.

Math Hopper – Help your younger children practice counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication with this fun 10-level math game.

2048 – A new twist on the popular sliding block puzzle game that lets you exercise the body and the brain. It’s perfect for older children and adults.

tgomaFit – Adults and teenagers can work out alongside a professional trampoline coach, choosing from 26 different exercises.

Beyond just playing games, tgoma lets you track your activity, set goals, participate in events, preview games and more.

Here’s How It Works:

  • When you buy a Springfree trampoline, you get the tgoma system with your purchase. The system includes a controller unit with a mounting plate, sensor and cable sets, a tablet holder with a sunshade, manuals, user guides and connectors.

  • Interactive Play On Your TrampolineDownload tgoma software to your tablet from iTunes or Google Play. The app will only work on iPad 3 – or more recent – iPad Mini or iPad Air tablets for Apple, or for any Android tablet with an operating system of 4.4 or higher, running Bluetooth 4 or more recent. Whether you prefer Apple or Android, you’ll need a tablet with a screen size between 7 and 11 inches (in other words, no phones).

  • Attach tgoma to your trampoline. The controller will connect wirelessly to your tablet. You don’t need Wi-Fi in your backyard for tgoma to work, although you will initially be in Wi-Fi range to download the tgoma app, to buy games and to load a game or an app for the first time.

  • We realize your kids may want to use tgoma together, but these games are designed to be played one player at a time. The sensors in the gaming system won’t work if multiple jumpers are involved. Besides, it’s not safe to have more than one person on a trampoline.

  • Now that you’re all set, you can begin playing games by jumping on your trampoline!

Between your work and their games/shows, you and your kids spend a lot of time staring at screens. Here’s a way to do that while getting some fresh air and some exercise.
