Trampolines can be a great source of fun and entertainment, but they become even more exciting with the addition of some games and exercise equipment.

What if you could add basketball to your trampoline regimen? Or use a snowboard –like object? In this blog post, we'll look at some accessories for your trampoline that will take your backyard adventures to new heights.

The bounceboard adds an exciting new level of extreme fun for your trampoline. The bounce board

The JumpSport bounce board is a great new accessory for anyone interested in extreme sports and trampolines, especially if you have kids who have outgrown their trampoline.

if you're a snowboarder who wants to work on your moves before winter, the bounce board helps you improve spatial awareness, increase flexibility and boost your confidence, all from your backyard.

And if your kids are surfers who want to hone their skills before hitting the beach next summer, they'll get a chance to practice on a board made from the same sturdy material valued by boogie boarders and kayakers.

We've written about the bounce board before, and at the time, noted the numerous safety tips involved. Please read our blog post for more information.

Surfing and snowboarding aren't the only sports you can practice on your trampoline. Our parents at JumpSport offer the ProFlex Trampoline Basketball Set.

Designed to fit securely on your trampoline safety net enclosure, this kit includes a backboard, cushioned 11-inch hoop and an inflatable ball. Designed to fit with JumpSport products only, this kit will let you slam dunk like a pro.

Trampoline dodgeball

Another way to get more out of your trampoline is with a game of trampoline dodgeball, which we discussed in more detail a few months ago.

But simply put, there are two ways to play:

1. Throwing from the trampoline

In this version, one player gets on the trampoline and bounces up and down, with the other players stand about 10 feet away, roaming around the trampoline.

As the player on the trampoline bounces, they also try to throw the ball at other players.

2. Dodging from the trampoline

Again, one player uses the trampoline, only this time they have to try to dodge balls thrown by other players while bouncing.

Read our blog post for more rules and background on the game.
